Snubbed: Pogba deal prevents Arsenal from landing midfield lynchpin

Arsenal have seen a bid of 16m snubbed by Juventus for midfielder Mario Lemina, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato (via the Daily Telegraph.) The Old Lady have been the most pivotal club in the European market so far this summer, having broken records to both sell Paul Pogba and purchase Gonzalo Higuain. With the former having rejoined Manchester United for a world record fee, the Serie A champions are said to have rebuffed overtures emanating out of North London. Lemina, a Gabonese international, moved to Turin last summer after initially joining from Marseille on loan, having started his career at Lorient.
