Arsenal news: Alexis Sanchez could play in north London derby
Alexis Sanchez is going to be given one final chance on Friday to prove his fitness for Saturday’s north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur. Arsène Wenger had said on Thursday that Sanchez would be ruled out of the game – and he remains a major doubt with his hamstring injury – but the 26-year-old believes that he can play. “He wants to play, of course, he's very keen, he feels he can defy the medical people because he is so keen to play that he thinks he can get over strains,” said Wenger.
