Arsene Wenger '99% confident' of signing Shkodran Mustafi, Lucas Perez
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has strongly suggested that the club are on the verge of completing the signings of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez. The Gunners have so far brought in one new face to the Emirates - Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach for a fee in the region of £30m. The club have faced criticism once again for their lack of spending, but they could be about to splash around £52m on a double swoop. Mustafi is believed to be the subject of a £35m move from Valencia as Wenger hopes to add to his defensive backline following injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista.
