Arsenal concerned as 30-goal ace demands buy-out clause in new deal

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has reportedly demanded that a buy-out clause is included if he puts pen to paper on a new deal with the club. The Chilean international has two years remaining on his current deal with the Gunners, but similarly with Mesut Ozil, the club are keen to tie down their long-term futures sooner rather than later. Having arrived from Barcelona in 2014, the 27-year-old has gone on to score 30 goals in 68 Premier League outings along with providing 15 assists. In turn, he has proven his importance to Arsene Wenger's side, and so the Frenchman will be keen to avoid a situation in which Sanchez's future becomes a real problem for them.
