Confirmed: Arsenal finally secure transfer after work permit is approved

GETTY Kelechi Nwakali has gone to Holland on loan for the season The Gunners secured the deal with Dutch second-tier side Maastricht before the transfer deadline last month. But the Nigerian has had to wait for his work permit to come through. Nwakali, 18, only joined Arsenal this summer from the Diamond Football Academy in Nigeria. He captained Nigeria at the Under-17 World Cup in Chile in 2015. "With his Dutch work permit now granted, the young midfielder heads to Maastricht to gain first team experience," an Arsenal statement read.
