Arsene Wenger never moaned about Arsenal budget - Freddie Ljungberg
After an impressive display against Nottingham Forest in the EFL Cup, the FC panel assess Lucas Perez's role at Arsenal.
Former Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg says Arsene Wenger has never complained about the financial restraints under which he's had to work in recent times, and has suggested the club are finally capable of signing the players they want now.
Wenger spent big on a trio of players this summer in midfielder Granit Xhaka, defender Shkodran Mustafi and forward Lucas Perez in hopes of landing Arsenal their first Premier League title since 2004.
And Ljungberg has seen the investment as a positive sign...
