Wenger Provides Ozil Contract Update
Arsene Wenger has provided an update on Mesut Ozil’s contract extension situation explaining things are “moving long” although no agreement has yet been completed. The Germany international’s future remains the subject of much speculation although Arsene Wenger has reiterated his desire to keep Ozil, whose current deal expires in 2018. Ozil has this week been linked with a move to Fenerbahce, with a report in Turkey claiming he reportedly met club officials recently to discuss a future transfer.
