Arsenal fans lose their minds with refereeing howler
Minutes after Arsenal were turned down for a stonewall penalty on Alexis Sanchez, Sunderland are awarded a spot kick at the other end. Some clumsy goalkeeping from Petr Cech brought down the hard working Duncan Watmore in the Arsenal box, with Jermain Defoe doing the necessary from 12 yards shortly after. With the game brought back to 1-1 after Arsenal's dominance throughout, fury spread across the Arsenal team. Sanchez earned himself a little note in the referees book for his complaints, with the Gunners understandably feeling hard done by.
