Arsenal star holding out for a pay rise
Theo Walcott is looking for a significant pay rise in his new deal to stay at Arsenal Football Club for the foreseeable future, according to reports in the Daily Mail. Walcott is currently earning in the region of £90,000-per-week but is now looking for a salary that is significantly above the £100,000-per-week mark before he will sign any extension. The Premier League forward is entering into the final year of his contract and the club will want to sign him on or risk losing their valuable asset on a free at the end of next season.
