Sanchez Willing To Risk Further Injury By Playing For Chile
Alexis Sanchez is reportedly willing to risk aggravating his current injury by playing in Chile’s World Cup qualifier against Uruguay on Tuesday, according to a report by El Mercurio. Chile confirmed yesterday that the Arsenal star has suffered a “low grade muscle injury” while on international duty that they will continue to monitor and treat. The problem has already ruled Sanchez out of Friday’s clash with Colombia, and the forward has reportedly not travelled with the rest of the squad for the game in Barranquilla. The report claims Sanchez has told Chile – “It is hurting a bit but I'm fine. I'll be back for Tuesday' – with the forward keen to play against Uruguay....
