Los Angeles FC Chasing Manchester United Captain Wayne Rooney
Reports are out claiming that New MLS franchise LA FC are chasing Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney. Rooney is a top target for Los Angeles FC – the new expansion team joining Major League Soccer in 2018. He will be 32 by the time the club joins the league. According to the Daily Telegraph, Rooney's contract is a year shorter than previously thought – with the final 12 months not guaranteed and subject to a trigger by either player or club. Rooney signed the deal in February 2014, worth £300,000-a-week, that was reported as lasting five-and-a-half years.
