Arsenal attackers struggle as Olivier Giroud arrives to save the day
Arsene Wenger admitted his side were not at the races despite salvaging a late point at Old Trafford. The Gunners had Olivier Giroud to thank for rescuing a 1-1 draw against Man United after what was probably their worst performance of the season. The France international's thumping late header was brilliantly timed and the fact that it was Arsenal's only attempt on target for whole game tells you a significant part of the story. Once more at Old Trafford, the Gunners failed to perform and when Juan Mata put United ahead midway through the second half, it was tough to see how Arsenal would get anything from the game.
