Arsenal’s Mesut Özil faces questions over night out in Berlin club
Mesut Özil faces a potentially awkward conversation with Arsène Wenger to explain why he went to a nightclub in Berlin on Saturday night, having been ruled out of Arsenal’s Premier League fixture at Newcastle United earlier in the day through illness. Wenger will seek Özil’s side of the story and, in the past, the manager has had to remind some of his players about their responsibilities; most recently, Jack Wilshere, who was pictured in a London nightclub holding a shisha pipe.
