Mesut Ozil REVEALS Ballon d'Or target to silence Paul Scholes
The Germany international has been plagued by injuries this term, limiting him to just 14 Premier League appearances. The 26-year-old, who is currently preparing for his country's friendly against Australia tonight (7.30pm) and the Euro 2016 qualifier in Georgia on Sunday (5pm), believes the Ballon d'Or is not an unrealistic aim. "Should I continue to improve myself and stay healthy, I want to get my hands on the Ballon d'Or in the upcoming years," Ozil told German paper Sport Bild. "I am convinced that it can work out.
