Nottingham Forest confirm Akpom loan deal
Nottingham Forest have confirmed the signing of Chuba Akpom on loan until the end the season. The highly-rated 19 year old recently signed a new deal with Arsenal but has too much in front of him right now to make any kind of first team impact. Having outgrown youth and reserve level, the next step is for him to play regular first team football and linking up with Dougie Freedman's side is a good step for him. Forest are currently 9th in the Championship, 10 points off a play-off place, and could use some extra firepower if they're to make up that ground.
