The great debate: Arsenal ace or Man United star?
You wait all season for a scorpion kick and then suddenly two turn up at once – well, in a very short space of time at the very least. Indeed, Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan popped up on Boxing Day to acrobatically blast the ball into the roof of the net via the almighty power of his heel, only to see his effort rivalled by Arsenal's Olivier Giroud against Crystal Palace on New Year's Day. Both goals, although very similar, have their own strengths and weaknesses. As you can see below, Mkhitaryan's appeared to happen in the blink of an eye – but it was technically offside.
