Arsenal villain Martin Keown slams Man United duo
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has stated that Manchester United pair Phil Jones and Chris Smalling should not be in the England squad. Despite the Three Lions recording a comfortable 4-0 victory over Lithuania on Friday night at Wembley, Keown has stated that Roy Hodgson has better options than the Old Trafford duo. United’s defence has come in for criticism this season due to a lack of leadership, with the club linked with a host of high-profile centre-halves to nullify the impact of no longer having Nemanja Vidic or Rio Ferdinand to rely on.
