Wenger Confirms Injury Blow For Arsenal Striker
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Olivier Giroud picked up an ankle injury in the 4-0 win over Swansea but admits he has no idea how severe the problem is yet. The France international was on target yet again for the Gunners, grabbing the opener before the visitors went on to secure a handsome win. Giroud looked to be struggling in the first half before playing on but was eventually replaced on the hour by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
