Cech Unhappy With Arsenal Defence After Tottenham Defeat
Petr Cech appeared to point the finger of blame at the Arsenal defence for Tottenham’s first goal as the Gunners slipped to a 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane. Dele Alli opened the scoring for Mauricio Pochettino’s side after profiting from some poor defending and Cech admits he thought his defence were set to clear the ball before it went in. “When I saved the ball from [Christian] Eriksen I saw the ball going away and I thought we were safe but then it ended in the back of the net,” he said via The Metro.
