Newcastle United unlikely to bid for Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs - sources

Newcastle United do not plan to make a move for Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs, sources close to the newly-promoted club have told N FC. Manager Rafa Benitez had been linked with a move for Gibbs as he looks to bring in cover for regular left-back Paul Dummett next season. But sources said Newcastle are unlikely to pursue a deal for the England international, with Arsenal looking for around £15 million, and now have other targets.
