Arsenal 'begin talks to sell Mohamed Elneny'

Arsenal have reportedly entered negotiations with Galatasaray over the possible sale of midfielder Mohamed Elneny. The 25-year-old only joined Arsenal 18 months ago, but he has struggled to force his way into the first-team picture at the Emirates Stadium and made just eight Premier League starts last season. Manager Arsene Wenger is willing to let the Egypt international go as a result, with Galatasaray leading the race for the £10m-rated midfielder. Leicester City have also been linked with a move for Elneny and saw a £10m bid accepted by Arsenal, but the player himself is understood to have turned down a move to the King Power Stadium.
