Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson attracting interest from Italy?
Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has reportedly started to attract interest from three clubs in Italy. Jenkinson is deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium and Arsene Wenger is willing to sell the right-back before the end of the transfer window. Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle United and Swansea City have all been linked with the 25-year-old, but it appears that approaches could be made by clubs competing in Serie A. According to Corriere dello Sport, Cagliari Calcio, Sassuolo and Hellas Verona have all emerged as possible destinations for a player who has been contracted to the Gunners since 2011.
