Shkodran Mustafi almost snubbed Arsenal after Everton experience
Mustafi spent two-and-a-half years at Everton, failing to make a single Premier League appearance before joining Sampdoria in 2012. The Germany international spent two years at the Serie A side and another two years at La Liga giants Valencia, becoming a first-team regular at both clubs. He earned a £35million move to Arsenal last summer and had a mixed debut campaign at the Emirates. But Mustafi admits he contemplated not signing for the Gunners after his nightmare spell at Goodison Park. GETTY
