Arsene Wenger: Premier League title race 'very open'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has predicted a "very open" race for the Premier League title this season. The Gunners finished fifth in the table last term but have vowed to invest heavily in the transfer market this summer in order to mount a sustained title challenge. Manchester City, Liverpool, champions Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and big-spending Everton all have their own ambitions of finishing top of the pile this season, however, and Wenger is gearing up for a tough fight.
