Mohamed Elneny: 'Community Shield win good for confidence'
Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has said that Sunday's Community Shield victory over Chelsea will stand the Gunners in good stead for the start of the 2017-18 Premier League season. Following a 1-1 draw at Wembley, Arsenal overcame Chelsea on penalties to land the 2017 Community Shield crown. Elneny has said that the win will give his team "a great push forward" ahead of the start of their Premier League campaign, which will begin at home to Leicester City on Friday night.
