Arsenal 'put Thomas Lemar pursuit on hold until squad is trimmed'

Arsenal will reportedly not continue their attempt to sign Monaco star Thomas Lemar until they have offloaded their fringe players. Manager Arsene Wenger has 33 players at his disposal, but it has been suggested that he is struggling to sell the deadwood. It is believed that players are unwilling to lower their wage demands to join other clubs, which is making it harder for Arsenal to get rid.
