GETTY Arsenal want £40m plus £1 from Liverpool for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain The Gunners winger could well leave the Emirates before next Thursday’s deadline. Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has less than 12 months left on his contract, has turned down a new one worth £150,000 a week. Starsport understands he will only accept a four-year deal of £200,000 a week, which equates to a £40m commitment for Arsenal. With Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil’s futures not secure either, Oxlade-Chamberlain may be sold to either Liverpool or Chelsea.
