Simon Mignolet demands explanation from Jurgen Klopp after being dropped for Arsenal clash
Loris Karius is expected to make his first start of the season this afternoon against the Gunners with Mignolet demoted. Karius seemed to confirm the news he would be playing when he tweeted last night that he wouldn’t be able to watch the Conor McGregor v Floyd Mayweather fight. He wrote: “Big game tomorrow so no fight for me tonight #MayweatherMcGregor.” Karius was signed last summer to put pressure on Mignolet but Klopp’s decision to swap his goalkeepers for such a crucial game is a surprise.
