Man City set to beat Arsenal in race for £30M Premier League star, player uninterested in Gunners transfer

West Brom and Northern Ireland defender Jonny Evans is set to turn down a move to Arsenal in favour of joining Pep Guardiola's side Manchester City, with the Baggies willing to hold out for £30M for the centre-back, according to the Daily Mail. Guardiola has targeted Evans, 29, as his fourth option in the centre of defence, with the fact that the player's left-footed being seen as complimenting the options that are available to him as per the Daily Mail, with Arsenal having made a late move to try and tempt the Baggies star into moving to the Emirates, however the defender isn't interested in making the move to north London.
