Lucas Perez in talks over Arsenal exit, Deportivo set to beat Newcastle to striker
GETTY Lucas Perez looks to be heading back to Spain this evening. Arsenal are desperate to offload their £17m signing after he suffered a dismal first season in England's top flight. Perez only started in four matches after Christmas and the striker has not been seen since appearing in a FA Cup fifth round victory at Sutton in February. The forward has attracted interest from European outfits such as Marseille and Valencia this summer but the Spaniard was insistent that he would only head back to his former club before the 11pm deadline.
