Man City look to sue Arsenal after breaking Alexis Sanchez agreement - reports in Chile
GETTY Alexis Sanchez was on the verge of signing for Manchester City before Arsenal pulled the plug Pep Guardiola’s side pursued Sanchez all summer and made their move late in the window. After initially seeing a £50m bid rejected, their deadline day offer worth £60m was accepted. However, Arsenal were determined to land a replacement. But they could not convince Thomas Lemar to join from Monaco in a £92m move, leaving City fuming. According to Chile newspaper El Mercurio, City will file a lawsuit against Arsenal as they believe a gentleman’s agreement was broken.
