GETTY Claudio Bravo says Alexis Sanchez was close to joining Manchester City That’s according to his Chile team-mate and City ace Claudio Bravo. Pep Guardiola’s side made a £60m bid for Sanchez, 28, on deadline day. However, Arsenal couldn’t find a replacement for their star man and refused to sell the attacker. The Gunners agreed a £92m fee with Monaco for winger Thomas Lemar but the France international opted to stay in Ligue 1. And Bravo says a deal was close, adding that Sanchez was furious when the move fell through. “The transfer didn't happen because a player didn't go to Arsenal and everything collapsed,” said Bravo after City’s 5-0...
