Arsenal team to face Cologne confuses fans on Twitter Thu, September 14, 2017 Arsenal fans are confused by their starting XI set to face Cologne in the Europa League Play slideshow 1 of 12 Arsene Wenger has sprung a few surprises in his starting XI for the first match of Arsenal’s Europa League campaign. The Frenchman has handed starts to Ashley Maitland-Niles and Alex Iwobi in midfield, while Jack Wilshere and Reiss Nelson have been left on the bench. Kick-off for the Group H game has been delayed due to crowd safety, with some Arsenal fans hoping the delay will give Wenger a chance to change his mind about the team selection.
