'My favourite player when I was a kid' - Arsenal supporters pay tribute to former midfielder

Former Arsenal midfielder Andres Limpar celebrated his birthday on Sunday, with the Swede turning 52 years of age. The pint-sized midfielder only represented Arsenal for four years, but his spell at the club was a successful one – scoring 17 league goals in 96 appearances between 1990 and 1994. A well-travelled career also saw Limpar turn out for the likes of Young Boys, Everton, Birmingham City, AIK and Colorado Rapids, before retiring in 2008 after a short spell with Swedish club Sollentuna United. On Sunday, Arsenal's official Twitter account paid tribute to the midfielder, who scored six times in 58 Sweden appearances between 1987 and 1996. As expected, there were a number of...
