Arsenal news: Arsene Wenger should've swapped Alexis Sanchez for Sergio Aguero - Merson
That is the view of former Arsenal midfielder-turned-pundit Paul Merson. Sanchez, 28, was on the verge of joining Manchester City on transfer deadline day after Arsenal accepted an offer totalling £60million for him. But a move broke down at the last minute after Arsene Wenger failed to bring in a replacement in time, with Monaco winger Thomas Lemar rejecting a move to the Emirates despite his club accepting a £92m offer.
