Bate vs Arsenal: Theo Walcott was disappointing despite scoring two goals, says Martin Keown
That is according to Arsenal legend and BT Sport pundit Martin Keown. The Gunners overcame Belarusian champions Bate 4-2 thanks to goals from Walcott, Rob Holding and Olivier Giroud. Walcott was handed a rare start by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, something he has not done in the Premier League so far this season. He latched onto a fine Jack Wilshere cross for his first goal before a mistake from Bate goalkeeper Denis Scherbitski handed him his second.
