The Gunners continued their impressive recent form with a comfortable 2-0 win over Brighton on Sunday thanks to goals from Nacho Monreal and Alex Iwobi. As a result, in all competitions, Arsenal have racked up six wins and a creditable draw against Chelsea since an abject 4-0 defeat to Liverpool appeared to have them teetering on the edge of yet another crisis. As far as the Premier League table is concerned it means they are up to fifth – level on 13 points with Chelsea but still six points adrift of early leaders City and United.
