Arsenal keen on Turkish wonderkid Abdulkadir Omur - but Bayern Munich leading chase
Arsenal and Bayern Munich are set to battle it out in the race to sign Trabzonspor wonderkid Abdulkadir Omur. The 18-year-old has enjoyed an excellent start to the new season and is attracting interest from some of Europe's top clubs. Arsenal's interest was confirmed by Trabzonspor's former technical director Sadi Tekelioglu while Bayern Munich have also been keeping close tabs on the youngster. And, according to the Aksam newspaper, Bayern are preparing a £35m bid in an attempt to lure him to the Bundesliga giants. As well as £35m upfront, the German giants are also willing to allow Omur to return to Trabzonspor on a two-year loan to gain valuable first-team experience. It's understood...
