Arsene Wenger saw his side throw away a 1-0 lead late on to lose 2-1 at Watford Arsenal were leading 1-0 courtesy of a Per Mertesacker header in the first-half. However, the Gunners threw away their advantage after the restart, giving away a penalty and conceding a late goal in added time. Troy Deeney slotted home the spot-kick after Hector Bellerin brought down Richarlison and Tom Cleverley grabbed an unlikely winner for the Hornets in added time.
