Mesut Ozil tells Arsenal fans to 'ignore the noise'
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has told fans to "ignore the noise" amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United. Ozil is well into the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium and, rather than seeing him leave on a free transfer next summer, Arsenal are understood to be considering cashing in on the Germany international in January. Reports have suggested that Ozil has already told teammates that he will moving to Old Trafford once the transfer window reopens, but the playmaker insists that he is staying focused.
