Arsenal to increase Emirates Stadium capacity: Two-year plan to boost attendance revealed ARSENAL have announced plans to increase the capacity at their Emirates Stadium home. By Rhys Turrell / Published 1st November 2017 GETTY Emirates Stadium: Arsenal will expand their stadium in the next two years Arsenal opened the stadium in 2006 with space for 60,000 spectators. However that figure has crept down in years since due to changes in health and safety and disabled access legislation meant seats needed to be removed. But the club has now launched a plan to introduce another 780 seats to boost matchday capacity. The new space will be created in Arsenal's pricy Club Level tier....
