Arsenal and Chelsea given Sami Khedira lift following Real Madrid's frank admission
The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League last month, with Arsenal admirers of the Germany international. Chelsea also coveted his signature with Jose Mourinho fond of the midfielder, whom he knew well during their time spent together at Real Madrid. Sources in Spain have sensationally revealed that Khedira, who was substituted after 45 minutes of Real's humiliating derby defeat against Atletico with a hamstring injury, may have played his last game for the club. Khedira is expected to spend at least two weeks on the sidelines, although his injury comes at a bad time for Los Blancos who are also without Luka Modric and James Rodriguez. GETTY
