Report: Arsenal to launch bid for Bayer Leverkusen's Bernd Leno

Arsenal will reportedly make a move for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno during the summer. The 22-year-old German is one of the most highly-rated stoppers in European football following some impressive recent performances. The Germany Under-21 international is under contract at the BayArena until 2018. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is said to be losing faith with current shot-stoppers Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina. The Gunners boss has identified Leno as the perfect long-term solution to his goalkeeping problem, according to The Sun. It is thought that the Bundesliga side will demand a fee in excess of £25m for Leno's services.
