Mikel Arteta Now The Frontrunner for Arsenal Job
Former Arsenal player and current Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta is now reportedly the frontrunner for the manager's job (via Sky Sports). It's an appointment which could prove as controversial as it is surprising if Mikel Arteta does become Arsenal's new manager. The Spaniard made almost 150 appearances for the club over five years as a player before retiring and taking up an assistant coaching role at Manchester City. Working under Pep Guardiola, Arteta has reportedly become an integral part of the coaching setup at City and is highly thought of.
