Wilshere is out of contract at the Emirates and has yet to agree new terms. The playmaker had a solid season, making 38 appearances and scoring against Chelsea and BATE Borisov. But his efforts were not enough to see Gareth Southgate select him to represent his nation in Russia. And Mariner thinks Wilshere would be better off plying his trade in East London....
