Report: Jack Wilshere's free transfer to West Ham United in doubt
West Ham United are reportedly only willing to offer Jack Wilshere a one-year deal, putting his move to the East London outfit in doubt. The 26-year-old will bring an end to his decade-long stint in the Arsenal senior side next month when his contract officially expires. West Ham are understood to be one of a number of sides to have shown an interest in the free agent midfielder, with his £100,000-a-week wages unlikely to prove a problem. According to The Sun, however, a move is now in jeopardy as Wilshere is unhappy with the deal tabled by the Hammers, which will only run through until next summer.
