'Get his agent on the phone' - Some Arsenal fans would love to sign 25-year-old after Saturday
Uruguay defender Diego Laxalt caught the eye of many Arsenal supporters on Saturday night after he helped his country through to the quarter-finals of the World Cup with a win over Portugal. Progressing after a 2-1 victory, Uruguay are now definitely in with a shout of winning the entire tournament after, with Laxalt clearly central to their ambitions moving forward. The Genoa left-back produced an excellent performance throughout the 90 minutes last night, showing the kind of defensive solidity that has been lacking at the Gunners in recent seasons. A regular for the Italian side with 34 starts last season, if some Arsenal fans get their way, he'll be playing at the Emirates Stadium next...
