Arsenal transfer news: Gunners to confirm £17m signing TODAY - report SOKRATIS PAPASTATHOPOULOS is set to officially be unveiled as an Arsenal player later today, German reports say. By Owen Fulda / Published 2nd July 2018 GETTY Sokratis Papastathopoulos The deal has been considered to have been virtually done for weeks, albeit unannounced. A fee of around £17m was agreed with Borussia Dortmund for the central defender back in June. Sokratis completed his medical with Arsenal on Friday with no complications as expected.
