Arsenal are said to be interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes according to The Independent. The 24-year-old Portugal international was part of Benfica's famous youth academy before he sealed a move to Valencia back in 2015. His impressive performances earned him a transfer to Barcelona a year later but he understandably struggled to break into the first team. He has gone on to make 46 appearances for the Spanish giants, with half of them coming from the bench, but he has only managed to score three goals and make one assist.
