Arsenal transfer news: Lucas Torreira set to miss Premier League opening game LUCAS TORREIRA is unlikely to feature when Arsenal kick off their Premier League campaign against Manchester City. By Alex Harris / Published 9th July 2018 Uruguay international midfielder Torreira is set to complete his £26.5m (€30m) move from Sampdoria today after travelling to London from Moscow. He is scheduled to undergo a medical and will sign a long-term contract. Once he has put pen to paper and completed his media duties, Torreira is expected to jet off on holiday.
